Well let me first give a great big thanks to GGMM for supplying me with an Echo Dot 4th Generation Battery Base to review.
In addition, albeit it was given to me to review "free of charge" that in no way has influenced my comments below.
There are a lot of these type of units on the market and Amazon Echo which is a product made by Taiwan-based Foxconn, officially Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd.
There has been some bad press regarding them regarding the Amazon Dot retailing for $49.99. with according to China Labour Watch, the temp workers earning $2.26 per hour.
I have to say after reviewing the various "Battery Bases" the GGMM Company produce the best.
The unit arrived within one day or the order, it was very well packed both in the Amazon Packaging and additionally the GGMM packaging.
The battery life is between 6-8hrs and for those who want to be able to take their Echo Dot with them to other locations in the home or elsewhere its brilliant.
My unit is in my bathroom where I cannot have AC power to it.
The blurb provided by GGMM states that they are dedicated providing "Customer Satisfaction" and they have certainly done that.
The unit I have is "Black" and I also have 4 other Echo Dots (those are all artic grey" with one having the white battery base.
The instructions that came with it were very clear (unlike so many foreign products nowadays) and it was simple to attach to my Dot and worked straight out of the packaging.
In use its best to "Switch it Off" when not in use as the battery base will run out of juice in a few hours otherwise.
I can thoroughly recommend both the unit and the company and am glad to be part of their influencer program.

I’m obsessed with this. Love to listen to music in every room and hate having to unplug and plug back into a socket and having to wait for it to turn on. Very convenient and literally just went on Amazon typed in battery base for echo and you folks popped up! Love it so much and couldn’t rave about it enough! Definitely have been sharing with family and friends.

Perfect addition to the new echo 4th gen. Easy to install and appreciate the lights to indicate the amount of charge. I have the red echo, but the base is only available in black or white. This was not a problem for me. The black base is a great accent and a red base would have been too much red in my opinion.

Works really well.Locks onto echo like a camera to a tripod.It charges up through the echo device so unplugging the echo makes the base take over power supply so as to make it portable.Love it!

I have Echo in every room—yes, the bathroom, too, a Flex which saves shouting to be heard by the larger Echo speakers elsewhere. This battery base is ideal for taking the larger 4th generation Echo into another room, and especially to an area with no convenient outlet.

The battery works great. Was trying to find a way to have music in the bathroom for my wife while she takes a relaxing bath. This is perfect.
Once the battery has charged for a couple of days I unplug it so it isn’t in use when I don’t need it.
It also fits perfectly on the bottom of the Echo.

Das Desgin der Akku passt sehr gut zu meinem schwarzen Echo dot. Es ist vom Volumen her sehr klein und kann deswegen überall hingestellt werden. Die Akku wurde auch schon vor der Lieferung aufgeladen.

Excellent product and great seller, there was a problem with shipping and the seller fixed it very quickly and efficiently, always with good communication. Recommended at 100%, I would definitely buy the battery back (it lasts about 24 hours) and it goes perfect to be able to carry goes the speaker all over the house.

I was headed to give this product a one star review. I ordered on 6th of March, from France to avoid supplementary custom taxes . On March 22 I wrote the seller in order to look into the matter because the tracking number said it wasn't even picked up from France. My blood pressure rocketed when I got the answer that the product wasn't on stock in France and was expedited from China. On March 26, finally the product arrived, NO TAXES indeed. My anger went away when I opened the package. This is a five star product both as aspect and functionality. Starting with the rigid cardboard package and the clear multi-language instructions booklet and finishing the quality of materials. No one could tell this product was not made by Amazon, its almost perfect! So, I am more than happy to look over the longer expedition time and I would further recommend this company.

works perfectly. feels quality ,snug fit , nice solid button, has a good weight to it . no cheap plastic feel. only thing I can say as a remark is, you need to push the power connector bit harder than normal to plugin the cord . but the positive effect is that the cord is very securely in and does not fall out easily.
